Reading in the target language is one of the best ways to learn!

But… is it?

It certainly doesn’t feel like it when you have to stop every three … two words, to look up in the dictionary.

Maybe you do that, and end up with an hour of study to figure out two paragraphs. And, look at that! … those sentences don’t even make sense.

But really, reading is still the greatest way to learn new vocabulary, observe how the language is built and create a strong relationship with it.

Imagine you’re visiting a foreign country for the first time. You can visit all the wonderful places you found online but, having a local show you around, uncovers many things you probably would’ve missed on your own.

A local can help you make sense of the place by showing you the hidden gems, explaining the dynamics of the city, and taking you to the best food spots.

To me, that’s what learning a language should be about and it’s what I want to offer you at Quiero Leer en Español.

Not just a grammar brochure with charts and sentences to complete, but a guided, immersive experience that allows you to navigate Spanish in full HD.

Quiero Leer en Español is a leveled Spanish learning workshop. The content is crafted entirely by me and is based on TPRS (teaching proficiency with reading and storytelling).

TPRS is a dynamic way to work around texts in a relatable and natural way. I love the method. If you’re not familiar with it, I think you will love it too when you realize how much can be achieved effortlessly with properly structured and visual content.

And if you know about it already, then you’re fully aware of how engaging and effective it can be.   

The reading technique, along with creative exercises, lots of speaking, listening practice, and some guidance by my good old self, make up the Quiero Leer en Español workshop.  

In the workshop, you will learn and produce language at the same time from day one, without needing to memorize crazy grammar rules that you forget the week after you learned them.

The method is great to work at any level. Doesn’t matter if you are starting from scratch or you know your hablo, hablas, habla. Maybe you even read, talk and watch films in Spanish. There’s so much more to discover and enjoy without having to sit in a classroom to prepare for an exam.
